Sunday Sweets: Jersey Girl in the Beginning

I was backing up some old photos and noticed there were ones of Jersey when we first got her that I don't think I have ever shared with you.  Whenever I see pictures of Jersey as a pup, they tear at my heart. She was SO little!

This was B playing with her in the yard. You can barely see her!

Look at her trying to attack Brad who is almost the same size as her:

Just a bit bigger than Chester as they keep a watchful eye on each other. They still do that today:

Chewing up our shoes. Luckily that doesn't really happen much today.  You can barely see her with my boots there!

Remember how she recently stuffed herself into that pet bed? Look how big it looks here!  This was a day-we-got-her picture. I know this because she is still wearing the holiday bandana that she had on when they brought her over. Shortly after that, she chewed it off.

Smaller than a gym bag:

But cutest thing ever!!

What a cutie indeed!

we've been walking dogs from the pound lately (every Saturday) and are just smitten over all the ones we've walked. But we're still hesitant on taking one home.

My baby is napping now so I figured I could send some comment love...I want you to know I still lurk...but I know I need to work on commenting more...and telling those I love and read that I am still around...I am too addicted to my google reader! How are things going with you? I started a new blog I need more shit to do...I put my goal out there, as high as it is -- to be dooce and rule the mom blog out to see the real me! Anyways let me know how things are going with you!

Patricia - that is such a great idea to walk dogs from the pound! I just read some really sad (probably made up) story about abandoned dogs at shelters and it made me want to run out and adopt 5 more. But I think one dog and three cats is plenty right now.

Marketing Gurl - I missed you! I know you still lurk and I know you are super busy but it is good to hear from you. The new blog is cool. I am going to add it to my Reader and try to comment on it (and your other one) more myself. If you becom the new dooce, remember the rest of us too, k? Things are going good on my end. I am writing reviews which I find inspiring me to write more here. Then that keeps my creative juices flowing and doesn't make me dread the other noncreative parts of life. Well, that was a random fact in my life. All in all - it is all good :)
